  2. I've just discovered Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid Chronicles series and I am just loving it. I loved the first book Hounded and I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the next two books Hexed and Hammered which are on their way to me now.

  5. I would recommend Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini. It is one of my favorite books this year! I fell in love with all of the characters and the plot kept me up til I finished the book.

  6. One of my favorite reads this year was "Enclave" first book in her new "Razorland" series by Ann Aguirre, second favorite read after that was "Tyger, Tyger" first book in the "Goblin Wars" series by Kerstin Hamilton...

I cannot say those are my only favorites but they are the top two because both authors created strong characters, unique stories and most of all books that can be read over more than once!

And thanks BTW, TBD is my favorite one-stop book shopping site!

  7. Perhaps my favorite book series of all time is The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb. I CANNOT recommend it enough, even if you're not normally a reader of the fantasy genre. It's impossible not to fall in love with the main character.

  14. I'd recommend the Jaz Parks Series by Jennifer Rardin.

Bitten in Two is book seven in the Series.

If you’re a Jaz Parks fan, than you won’t be disappointed. Like the rest of the series, this book is filled with smart, quick wit, intense fight scenes and enough love and action to keep you glued to the pages. This is one of the few series where the supporting characters are written with as much love and respect as the mains.

I loved this book and I can’t wait to read the next one, which I bought from The Book Depository.

I posted twice because I forgot to login or add my email. angieerickson@live.com

  31. It's not a romance, per se, though there is romance in the book but Talon of the Silver Hawk by Raymond E. Feist. Also if you have never read books by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. They're all modern fic romance genre. And they're all ridiculously good, both for the romance, the excellent way the characters are progressed and learn and the hilarious scenes that occur because of the characters. ;D You like romance, you should start with either Heaven Texas or one of the other books in that series. SOO good.
